The term “secretary” may bring to mind an image of someone managing appointments or answering phone calls.  A company secretary, however, is one of the major officers of a company, sharing legal duties with the firm’s directors.

It’s their responsibility to ensure the company, its operations and its Directors are fully compliant with all relevant legislation, statutory laws and regulations in accordance with the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance.
